Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery
The General nursing and Midwifery (GNM) training Course is of 3 years duration with English as the medium of instruction. Apart from theoretical training in class rooms, the practical hospital training would be of paramount importance. The course shall also include field training in community nursing and midwifery. The General Nursing & Midwifery programme aims at preparing nursing professionals.
WHAT AFTER GNM ?
One can work at Hospitals, Private clinics, Schools, and Rehabilitation centers as Home care Nurse, infection control Nurse, ICU Nurse and OT Nurse.
One can also study further for Post Basic Nursing (which would make it equivalent to Bsc Nusing) after which they can even work in Educational institutions besides Hospitals.

Basic B.Sc Nursing
Course duration: 4 years

The College develops students of Basic B.Sc.(Nursing) an aptitude for nursing to provide the necessary knowledge & skills to give comprehensive nursing care to patients for all types of illness following objectives of study.
Eligibility : 10+2(Physics Chemistry & Biology with 50% marks)
If belonging toa Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe, should have obtained not less than 40% of the total marks in science subjects.
Completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete this age on or before 31st December of the years of Admission.
POST BASIC B.SC NURSING
Course duration: 2 years
Eligibility: Gnm
No candidate who is above 48 years of age as of 31st December of the year of admission will be eligible.
Be medically fit.
M.SC NURSING
Course duration: 2 years
Eligibility: B.Sc Nursing/post B.Sc Nursing of RGUHS or any other university accepted as equivalent by RGUHS, Karnataka.
Minimum one year of experience after obtaining B.Sc.Nursing in a hospital or a Nursing educational institution or community health setting.
For a candidate possessing Post Basic Nursing, the experience is not required.
Be a registered Nurse and Midwife.
